• What levels of microwave energy could be considered as safety levels?

The World Health Organization (WHO) advised to follow the exposure limits proposed by the International Commission of Non-Ionzing Radiation Prtection (ICNIRP). They are introduced through two official documents of the European Commission and the European Parliament, as follows:

      1. Council Recommendation 1999/519/EC on the limitation of exposure of the general public to electromagnetic fields (0 Hz to 300 GHz)
      2. Directive 2013/…/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on the minimum health and safety requirements regarding the exposure of workers to the risks arising from physical agents (electromagnetic fields)

Moreover, belief of the scientists in the world at present is that if the values of the electromagnetic fields don’t exceed the exposure limits accepted in the European documents (the ICNIRP recommendations), there are not convincing scientific evidence that some health consequences concerning EMF exposure on workers or population can occur.
